This small-group outing is designed as an opportunity for those with very little birding experience to acquire skills and knowledge to more fully enjoy the pleasure of observing birds in the wild. Led by experienced birders from the Green Mountain Bird Alliance, participants will learn about tools and methods allowing for easy identification of common and not-so-common species.

This event has two separate sessions, each providing for participation by only 10 individuals. The first will commence at 8:00 AM and the second at 9:30 AM. Binoculars will be provided to anyone needing them, as well as other helpful information on birding.
