As described in a popular children’s book, In November, the penultimate month of the year is when “some birds move away, and some birds stay.” Come join members of the Green Mountain Bird Alliance as we walk along the Colchester Causeway in search of both resident and departing birds. This totally level walk travels through protected cedar forest and out to the open lake, providing an opportunity to see a variety of species. Skip the lines, the traffic, and the wallet-draining shopping, and actually enjoy the morning after the holiday peacefully observing birds! This outing is limited to 20 participants to ensure an enjoyable birding experience.
